Dal fry has mainly 3 secrets to make it a taste completely like the one you get in dhaba or restaurants, and these are
- Butter, you need to fry it in butter
- Kasuri Methi, key flavor in exact quantity
- Addition of Urad dal with Toor dal while cooking, you need to add 1/10th quantity of urad dal with door dal to make it sticky and give it that extra taste
